Have been noticing lately if i play around with the search terms under Blackpowder category on Ebay i find much more interesting(cheaper) parts. some listers get to sophisticated with their listings and they show up in limited areas.

I lucked out a few weeks ago, I walked into my local gun store and there in the rack was a CVA Big Bore Mountain rifle in .58cal. I asked to see it. It was in need of some Love’n. When I seen the tag at $150 bucks I bought it. This is after I refinished it! Wish I had taken pictures of it before I started

Agreed! Always wonder why some companies don’t Seem to realize when they have a good thing and they just don’t stay with it. I bet if they offered it again with let’s say an improved Lock and triggers it would be a Hit!

That's how I came to acquire my first Hawken. Trolling the gun shop one day and came across a T/C Hawken in the rack for $130. Only thing wrong was a missing nipple. Figured for that price I could afford to try muzzleloading.
