I apologize if I posted this in the wrong place. I’ve been doing some research on Scottish firearms and came across the Doune/Murdoch pistols that were made entirely of wrought iron. I then came across a listing in the Royal Armory for a full brass musket made by a James Lowe of Dundee. The post is really interesting and makes reference of numerous others but does not have any information on them or pictures. I was wondering if anyone had any pictures or information on them or anything similar(or anything on Mr Lowe) as I’ve been debating building something similar myself. It clearly isn’t solid brass as it’s listed as weighting 8 pounds so i imagine it was brazed together(I doubt it was cast). I’ll include a link to said listing and appreciate any information anyone can pass onto me. Thanks!
