40 cal Rifle help needed

Rifle seems original with repairs over the years

Barrel is 40 cal rifled and is 33 inches X 15/16 inches
Only markings I can find are pictured
Stock matches rifle
Sights appear period

Interested to know if this is any particular style and possible origin

Your rifle resembles a Vincent Halfstock. Maybe you could pull up some original photos and compare them with yours. Good Luck!

Thank you for the lead and yes the wrist was broken/cracked.
