I have a very nice CVA 1861 Navy that appears to have had Very little use. Steel frame. Only markings on it are a CVA emblem on right side of frame and in small letters on the top " Connecticut Valley Arms Inc" and in small letters on the bottom under the loading lever "Black Powder Only Cal .36 Made in Italy. I want $270 shipped in the lower 48. If interested PM me please. Thanks

51 with 61 barrel. Never seen a 61 without the extra screws and notches for a shoulder stock. Could be wrong though.

It is an 1861 Not a '51 with a round barrel
Ok, it's just that the ones I've seen and 2 I've had. Still have one. Steel trigger guard and backstrap. Notches and screws for shoulder stock.
