This one is buffalo hide lined with chamois buckskin and beaded up western style. Inside is a divider with two pockets.The horn is an old one with the date 1825 scratched into it. It came from humid Virginia and developed a couple of cracks out here in the high, dry SW so I patched her up with buffalo rawhide.

Unfortunately the pics don't capture all the nuances of the "aging" and colors nor that wonderful smell of pinon smoke :grin:
 
That is some great work, Chuck! :hatsoff: I really like the natually aged look to the package as a whole! Even the beads on the rosette look to have a natural patina. The photography is excellent as well! I can never get photos like that, the lighting is always wrong. :cursing:
 
It reminds me of when I was a kid lookin' through Christmas catalogs. OOooooh Aaawh! I want one a those. Great work! That horn repair is cool.
