    I just completed a Fowler for Turkey season. It has a colerain Turkey barrel, and I hope it is a Turkey killing machine. What sight would you put on a Turkey gun a peep sight or just a rear sight.

    Have a tip curtis dubbs fowler pre carve stock. Of Course it has the siler inlet, he dont have them not inlet.     Just got in a trade and would love to know who built it. It is 50 cal left handed [which i am right handed and will shoot it anyway] and has nice carving and engraving. Has the initials RQ on the thumb rest with a 42 inch barrel. the guy said it had douglas wrote on the bottom of the barrel...

    apple cider on barrel

    Done cold blue and rubbed back on barrel. sprayed a fine mist of apple cider on barrel, think it will give me the aged look i am looking for? if this dont work may do the rope and vinegar trick. Dove it before and a Damascus look to a pistol barrel.

    done something stupid

    When i cut my blank for my stock i cut it all the way to the breach plug and did not sweep a curve into it..see picture? %#& stupid!!! working on gluing me a piece to it on both sides maybe it wont look too bad. Plan on a dark stock anyway, its walnut on a 36 cal swamped barrel.
