    Got a 9 point with one drop tine in back yard today. Weapon 58. cal T/C Hawken 90 grain charge of Swiss with Hornady round ball with cabelas pre lubed patch. And I couldnt be happier. Wish I had a camera to share it with you guys but alas I dont maybe I will get one for Christmas. :grin:

    hunting with a 58

    How come after 54. cal power and velocity begin to drop off.You would think that a 58. cal would be more powerful than a 54. but according to the tc manuel power and velocity begin to drop off after 54. cal why is that Im new to the sport and feel stupid for asking.
