    Bess Round Ball Size

    Musket Man stated in another thread that he shoots either a .715 round ball with .020 patch or a .735 round ball with a .015 patch in his .75 cal Brown Bess. Can a guy go smaller yet with a thicker patch or is .715 about the limit?
