    Having a brain fart

My first muzzleloader was a CVA squirrel in .32 flint. Got it for Christmas when I was 10. Have taken many bushy tails and groundhogs with it. After 45+ yrs, I send it to Bob Hoyt and had it rebored and rifled to .40 cal. He did a great job on it. My problem is that it's shooting about 6"...

Ok guys, I know that I will probably get lots of hate replies but here goes. I bought a first pattern 1728 British long land from one of the Canadian importers. Yes, the fit and finish was not of pedersoli quality but neither were the original ones. Today I put about 24 hand rolled paper...

Has anyone built a kit from Jedediah Starr?

Their description indicates that they are fairly easy. Anybody have feed back? I am thinking of the Bedford County.

    Thanks for the info

In Georgia, we only have spring turkey. There are no restrictions for muzzleloaders. Three gobblers per season. I'm thinking of using my .32.

    Spring turkeys

What caliber do you guys use for turkey? Or do you smooth bore with shot?
