How far and how good is your Enfield

I got a book some 20 years back I think all because of a story that was in Gun Digest or one of those -- A guy goes out to ck a place hes bought and while walking across a field he bends over seeing something and a slug screams right over him, he figures out where the shot had to come from WAY...- faw3

Whats it for in the pre 1760s rifles
I go off to the hospital awhie and cant find any of our better history buffs or builders here just looking thru real fast. The thing is in the hospital I got a "Man At Arms" and the centerfold has 4 flints, the first known JP Beck and a 2nd one, a Christian Spring # 164 (1775) and a Kentuck 1756...- faw3

50 cal Colt Navy
I know this ha come up a year or two back on the builders page but does anyone remember the guys name that builds 5 shot 50 cals thats a little bigger than org Navy, some months ago I saw 2 one perc and one that shot some kind of shell that ran to high for me , but anyone remember who it is... -

Pedro's Penn Rifle
Knowing I can't get out of bed some nice people that own a shop sent me a 50 cal Penn long rifle, knowing I could sand and stain at least. This kit rifle has the slowest lock time of any rifle I ever had is that the way they all are ( set trigger) and whats the time frame on this 1700s I guess...- faw3

Smooth bore rifle and 200 yd shot's
While in the hospital tis week I was reading a new I thought "sniper book" , most the time the history of snipeing is a few pages about pre 1800's ( Sniper a History of the U.S. Marksman.. martin Pegler) by page (of small print I've got to the Rev War.
