Can anyone tell me what size buckshot to use in a .32 cal flintlock.

DO NOT use buck shot in a muzzle-loader its TOO HARD, got antimony in it...use a CAST PURE LEAD .310 BALL :imo:

Buckshot is fine to use in muzzleloader. I shoot 1/2 inch groups at 25 yards and 1 inch groups at 50. As far as it being hard, Hornady's Buckshot assays at 98.76 and that's plenty soft enough to use in any muzzleloader... the biggest impurity when I had it done was gold.
You can get it from Track of the Wolf for about $15 shipped to your door. In a 5 pound box it has about 720 shots. A lot cheaper making than your own (time is money)or buying it by the 100.

If "Time is Money"??? How come I don't get paid to shoot full auto anymore??? It IS quicker...

Still "I" would NOT recommend useing HARD balls in a RIFLE -GUN, Smooth-bore....O.K. :imo: :results:

Hornady #1 buck is what you want. It's plenty close enough to being pure lead, and there is NO PURE lead. 99.99999% maybe but not 100%.
The Hornady buck is perfectly acceptable.

I've used Hornady buckshot in my .32 pistols with no problems at all. You can get it real cheap at Midsouth Shooters Supply in TN. They have a website www.midsouthshooterssupply.com

It is the best alternative for roundballs in .32 caliber. By the way, you can also use #000 buck for .36 caliber. It is .350 in diameter.
