Nothing, spending weekend out of town watching granddaughter play fast pitch sofball tournament for the weekend. Will get back to Traditions Trapper 50cal Monday.
Went to to the Central Wisconsin Gun Collector's show today, and while that's not a strictly ML activity, (and I spent my cash on a "cartidge" gun - an 1884 Springfield Trapdoor) I did also pick up a baggie of 100 .457 round balls I wanted for my .44 cal cap 'n ball revolvers, and had a lengthy conversation comparing notes and BL ML guns owned with the seller, a fellow BP ML enthusiast, and who also filled me in on BP ML clubs in my local area.

Did something of which the meaning of is obscure to me. Organizing. I am still looking for my missing small precision pliers and the screwdriver handle and a bit from a Wheeler set. I did move several bags and boxes of cast balls from the floor and put them in a storage dresser. I also arranged the drawers by caliber along with shooting bags.
Finally, I found a stud-finder I had lost. Or should I say, it found me.

Shot my new Frontier percussion rifle today, really enjoying it. Very accurate, and great fun to ring steel with.
Loaded up my Uberti Colt Walker, Uberti 1860 Army and my Pietta 1860 Army to shoot tomorrow if it stops raining.

Went to my clubs Legacy Match today. It's for 75+ shooters. Seven shooters. This is a recurring Match. Three times per year. I came in 6th. I have a great alibi but not going to bore y'all. Under 75 can.also shoot the same Match but they shoot for a payout from the entry fees one of my grandsons shot with me and he did way better than me.

laid about like a gentleman of leisure today, until the computer told me mail had been delivered.
drove the ford down to get the mail. (three miles).
got the goodies from Muzzleloaderssupply.com and started back up the mountain.
coming off the paved road onto the forest service road I hit a pothole from hell.
who'd a thunk that that jar was enough to trigger some stupid senser to shut off the fuel flow.
something else to protect us that we don't want.
called the bride and she got her brother, Lurch, to come down and tow me home.
found the reset and finished the day in a bad mood until i started laying out the Issac Hanes Lancaster as my next build. discovered i forgot rammer pipes so ordered them.
spending money always cheers me up so am right with the world again.

Working on the tc 50 barrel that I shot yesterday. I couldn't get the rear sight to make adjustments and ran out of time during the practice relays. Upon disassembling the sight I spotted the problem! Per the photo below, the little retaining thingy is missing. It's apparently very little! Doubt if it's a hardware store item but I'll check.
I also noted two very subtle tight spots in the bore. In case they were thin lead deposits I worked it with steel wool without any change In those tight spots also, it looks very good with the bore light. I'm planning on taking it to the range for a firelapping session to see how much those tight spots can be reduced.
Also, here's an idea I got from @Century to late . Super glued a fishing bobber light to a piece of monofilament. It allows moving it up and down the bore for a good look. Also, with the lighted end down it eliminates the glare for a clearer look.

Finished the trade gun I've been working on. Decided to polish the lock an leave the barrel plain. I can always brown or blue the barrel later. Now on to the next one....! These things grow on yeah...

wandered around the homestead with she who must be obeyed, laying out some dirt moving that needs done. been wanting to do it for 30 years but didn't want to rush things.
after she stomped off in one direction and me the other i guess it is settled what is going to be done.
To sooth my bruised feelers, i dragged out the TC New Englander i reamed to 54 smooth bore.
65 g swiss fffg with some hard cast ball i used as tumbling media. suckers even greased with bear fat needed a pounding to seat. seemed to work though.
65 yards on a 6x10 plate.
