Boys I might be wrong, but the plan may have implemented 🤔

Be careful Cruiser!
Wonder who would be next?
I hope that image doesn't give Ed nightmares Fred! One where he drops one of those demon squirrels with his trusty blue steeled beauty Crockett, and he is reloading while they are bearing down on him and he snaps his ramrod 🤣

Now you did it. Now you really did it. Those are almost as bad as the flying monkeys on the Wizard of Oz. Glad I didn’t see this before I went to bed last night.

From now on, every time I go to the squirrel woods, I’m taking my well sharpened machete with me. If those evil things decide to gang up and attack after my first shot, I’ll have to go into full Samurai survival mode.

After all, I’d rather go down as a martyr fighting trained attack, devil squirrels till my last breath than never go squirrel hunting again.

I sure hope so, last couple years haven't been so productive.

The squirrels are going into crazy mode down here. Chasing each other. Driving poor Ole Henry nuts according to the wife....
Fred, squirrels chasing each other, you know what that means. Soon as the Florida F&G opens the year round squirrel season, watch for the satellite squirrels. They will be all males and easier targets.

Me too buddy. If I have too, I'll drive down to Caintuck and carry him up the mountain on my back so he can hunt.
I appreciate it, Tom. However, I believe I will be in fine shape by the time spring season opens here. Yesterday, I started walking up and down the steep hill behind my house. I hope to slowly keep doing so until I’m built back up. I can’t believe how badly out of shape I’ve gotten since the 18th of December. It’s not just the knee replacement, it’s the whole body. I’ve also gained about 12 pounds. Ain’t nobody got time for that.

Growing old is overrated, but it ain’t for sissies.

Best to be prepared and have a backup weapon of choice....

I believe we can take them, before they take us..

Sweet Dreams..

I plan on taking advantage of year round squirrel season, we will have some cloudy days during the hotter months.

But the sketters and snakes will be very active for sure.

I will pay attention to the satellite squirrels.

You got that right buddy. Hoping some nicer weather comes around so I can complain about having too much to do. Glad to read the rehab is going well.

71 here and still at it, we've gotta keep moving every day and every way we can, sedentary is our sworn enemy.

So Henry Frapp, how much is Squirrel plews bringing at the Popo Agie rendezvous this year ?
Not much due to that damn Fontonell. This year he keeps talking about how hats made out of silk worms is better than squirrels. Awe, I should’ve known it wouldn’t last forever.

God I love that movie, I make a habit of searching and buying what I call "Classics" in DVD form, and "The Mountain men" is there, I dont trust Netflix or any other damn temporary supplier, Great movies can be watched over and again as we deem fit.

Its paid off in spades with my Grandson Archer, been sending him the Classic DVD movies since he was 4 years old (hes nearly 10 now) and hes a history nut just like ol grandad here.
Its got so that other kids in his neighborhood drop in on weekends to watch the movies, seems to me that it could be the way to get our youngsters back into appreciating history again.

No doubt you are on the right track. Kudos to you for trying to keep our youths interested in good things instead of the trash and evilness that’s so prevalent in our world today.

In terms of that movie, as many times that I’ve seen it, I still watch it at least twice every year. Aside from the some of the silly comity of it, it’s a darn good movie.

Those were some shinnin times. Did you ever find that valley with all the squirrels? So many squirrels they'd jump in front of your Crocket, saying "shoot me Ed, shoot me"! 🤣 Great movie.
