I got a fancy capper and a nipple wrench. Here's the nipple wrench.

There was a nice powder horn kit AND I got to unbox my new Kibler colonial kit! Then the furnace went out, luckily not at the main house and as it has been in the 50s here in the Pacific Northwest nothing else has been damaged. Off to clean the shop!
You are going to love that Colonial rifle, sure love my .54!

I’ve welded cast with nickel rod, pre heat what your going to weld then weld. Immediately peen the weld with the sharp side of you slag hammer. Old timer taught me this 30 years ago. My most recent fix is on a tire machine at my buddies shop. Right on the lip that breaks the bead from the rim. It can be done.

Nothing like usual. So I bought my own present. An Indian gun, I know, I know, forgive me Father for I have sinned. I'll blow me fool head off and be the cause of WW3 (yes I'm aware I've poo pooed Indian guns in the past but....). Should be a hoot to shoot. I plan on killing a spring turkey with it. I'll have it in about 2 weeks.

I spent my Amazon Christmas gift card on wood and leather working tools to be used on muzzleloading projects.

Was gifted a new battery hedge trimmer. Got candy my abscent taste buds can't identify from Chinese virus That's exciting. Day after Christmas , was given a special 2 1/2 day hospital visit to have a nasty uti treated. The next bed over in the room , was a special olympics cantidate , that didn't figure how the call buzzer worked and screamed for 2 days. There is always someone worse off than you. I got to go home.

I got a new right knee. Most painful gift I’ve ever gotten. Hopefully in a few more weeks I can get out and get back to my ML stuff. As of now, not such a great Christmas.
I need two of what you got plus a left hip..Really how bad was it ? My knees sound like cracking walnuts but I just kinda fearful of the surgery knife.
