Sold pending funds. I say Ladies Rifle because it was custom made for a lady. This is a really beautiful and unique custom .45 caplock rifle. There are two inscribed plates for original owner that could easily be redone for new owner. Since it was intended for a female shooter it has a unique patchbox in the shape of a woman in a hooped skirt. It also has a small hammer with short throw. Obviously a competition rifle. Lots of intricate carving and brass and silver bling. Looks like gold wire inlays, but might be some other metal. The 38" barrel has a mirror bore. LOP is 12 3/16". Rifle weighs about 7 lbs. The perfect gift for that gal in your life or for you gals looking for a special rifle. Now $1300 shipped.

You ever see under a 1860s ladies skirts there is more underware, petti coats over petti coats and that sort of thing under there, you would have to dig for a week just to see a ankle. After about 30 years of reenacting as a yankee with the wife in tow been there done that, took her a half day just to put on her skivvies. 😉Big joke used to be when everyone was arriving and setting up camp the guys would joke each other about the ladies by saying wonder what she would look like in a hoop skirt. More cotton and lace under there than in a Georgia cotton field.

Our daughter is graduating college next month. If i had the extra money. Id buy it for her graduation present 🎁. But dant retirement suck.

Sure wish my wife was righthanded! I would have bought it already. She loves the gun but it would do her no good shooting it lefthanded. Very nice rifle indeed.
