Looking for a .50 or .54 caliber, side by side, double barrel rifle. I'm interested in a shooter, bumps and scratches are okay. I'll pay up to $600.00 depending on model and condition. Thanks.

Double rifles, as they are called, are made today as replicas by Pedersoli, and your figure represents the starting line of such a rifle.

A genuine BP-era double rifle in muzzleloading format is not only extremely rare, but costly in the extreme.

I hunt with British and German double rifles. They are unbelievable creations. Works of functional art. They are also expensive. If you are looking for a modern replica, the Pedersoli Kodiak .58 gets high marks.

Thanks you for your replies. I'm looking for an older and well used CVA or Pedersoli, not a genuine European rifle. The Pedersoli for sale on this site was a .72 caliber, I'm looking for a .50 or .54 caliber. They come up from time to time. I just thought someone may have one for sale at this time. Thanks.
