    Burned by USPS

    Lots of misunderstanding. The BATFE regs state that muzzleloading guns are NOT firearms and can be mailed directly to you, or by you to anyone that can legally own one.

    Your opinion of best cold blue product?

    I have tried a few and like OxphoBlue paste (or liquid) best. Preheat the parts a bit before applying the blue and follow directions.

    When I was still able to hunt....I put a little pressure on the trigger when cocking the lock, release the trigger when cocked. No click. And who needs a set trigger when hunting? Just my 2 cents worth.

    Which oil after browning a barrel?

    After the browning process is complete, I use a heat gun to warm the part so it is quite warm, then apply a heavy coat of motor oil (so the part is wet with oil), then let stand for a long period of time. I usually let it stand overnight or a day or two before wiping off. I use B-C or Old Time...
