In English, it’s called the “square load”. What they mean is you use a measure that holds 1 ounce of lead pellets, and use the same measure to measure out your powder, first, then the wad, then the lead pellets. DO NOT use an ounce of lead and an ounce of powder. The amount of powder will about 75 grains when you use a shot measure for measuring 1 oz. of black powder.
