One good looking gun and deer to go with it! Please tell us the story of the hunt.

There's not too much drama to it. I've been hunting the same land for 25 years on Schooley's Mountain, NJ. My stand has always been in the same general location. My office is located about 15 minutes away, so I'm able to sneak out in the afternoon for a couple of hours. I got into the woods around 2:30. There was a doe by my stand. She moved off without being spooked. About 20 minutes later another doe and a spike came by, and the spike bedded down about 25 yards in front of me. The buck I shot came in from the opposite direction, behind me and to my right. I don't like to take moving shots so I let him keep going until I was able to stop him by sort of bleating at him. When he stopped I let him have it. He ran about 50 yards and folded. After checking him out, I went back to my truck to get rid of the rifle and my parka. When I came back, I jumped several more deer in front of my stand but I don't know if any had horns.

No problem Duane. Glad to help. If you get a photobucket account I'll help you figger out how to do it yourself. You'd be amazed how easy it is.

Sounds like you had a pretty great hunt.
