I had the same problem... couldn't get the cap to go bang on my .50 GPR. The problem? The caps weren't getting fully seated. I took a file to the outside edge of the nipple to loosen the fit, never had any problems since. I was using #11 cci's. Hang fire is an obstruction in the fire channel... blow everything out with a C02 ball discharger, it works wonders.

Here's my .02 CDN. I have a Lyman GPR and I experienced the same problem. I changed the nipple but it had littlew affect. And then I broke the code.

The GPR has a patent breech. By running a damp bore diameter patch down between shots I managed to get that breech completely crapped up.

Get a bore brush the small enough to get into the patent breech and clean 'er out real good. My guess is your problem will go away. After that, keep'er clean and you'll be good to go.

Cheers!
