BTW- for those who shoot slugs, or plastic shot wads, both known to foul somewhat, a stip of 'Curly Kate' on a brush does a wonderful job of removing this fouling from pistol, rifle, or smoothbore.
: I've used this for years now for lead removal as well as plastic fouing removal from shorguns. It does a marvelous job without hurting the rifling at all.
; Recently, I picked up a bottle of liquid lead remover - maybe Birchwood Casey maker. This stuff works quite well & seems to be almost on par with the lead remover cloth, the yellow one. Both of these are quite marvelous, really.
