Old age? Only Kidding! At 77 I understand. I had to resort to a circle of tape with a hole punched in it. Worked great .
No offense taken at all. I'm a young 67, need my cheaters for up close but can still see far good.
I put a ghost ring sight on my deerhunter rifle, what a difference it made for me. The iron sights on my Tennessee rifle are difficult to focus on at distance.
 
Its the same as the Williams or Lyman sights. I'll measure one of mine tomorrow.

I was told it is the same sight used on the newer Pedersoli double rifles, but the base has a different slope and has different spacing, however I have never seen one of them in person.
