Great thread. Thought I would resurrect it to ask a question about barrel length.

How long are the barrels of the Leman guns above?

When would have 42” barrels have fallen out of style? Are there Lancaster styled guns made in the 1820s with 40/42” barrels?
Good move 'brazosland'! Alot of good information on styles that I've wondered about myself. Never saw this thread in the times I was 'in the way back machine' reading older threads.
