-----in JOHN WAYNE's ALAMO some men were sent out to bring back some cattle to eat--later you see them cooking ribs--I like ribs but with the whole cow there wouldn't the be cooking a better cut of COW----- :idunno:
 
And back then, ribs were 'poor peoples' and/or slave cuttings(no offense to the slave remark, history has proven this). The Defenders would have eaten the choicest cuts AND they are the easiest to cut off. GOOD CALL!!!!

I'm from a beef state. If you know your cuts of meat. Their cooking a PRIME RIB with bone left in it! That's about the best you can get!
