    barrel re-boreing

Back the day there were people on these forums, who were having 1" 54 cal. barrels bored out to .62. Usually they were Green Mountain IBS barrels. But I can't remember who the tradesman was that was doing this. Any info would be appreciated.

    1860 Armi San Paola

I have a this revolver that is in need of parts and advice. I received the piece as being locked up, it was, nothing would move, barrel wedge had to be drifted out, hammer screw was partly backed out and bound. Once dis-assembled, screw threads cleaned up and frame reassembled, cylinder slid in...

Dixie has the kit, thinking about it, but not set up to fire blue or case harden. What other finishes would work for this revolver?

    Armi San paola parts

I acquired a 1851 in .44 with a broken hand spring. I have come to find out that after 2002 they are now Euroarms. Who is a parts dealer for them? The revolver was unfired but the spring was faulty. TOW handles parts for long guns but not revolvers. Thanks Bernie

    Jinx and I went hunting.

After reading some of the squirrel hunting posts, and a comment by Brown Bear, about the more time you spend out with your rifle, the better friend it will become. I took out my GPR .54, named Jinx, because of after a least 4 deer seasons has yet to make meat. No its not the fault of the rifle...

    .36 cal rifle.

I've always had a "thing" about getting a .36. Yea I know a .32 or .40 not much difference, but I'm hung on the .36 halfstock or full that is not a issue. Right now I have a choiceof 4 different rifles for sale. Pedersoli Frontier I believe Hatfield--- both of these from the classifieds TC...

    For you casters a ?

Haveing read on here about melting pots, bottoms pour vs. ladle. My question is which size, Lee sells a 4lb and a 20 lb. dollar amount is not significant. I at this time don't see that I will be casting great numbers, but larger calibers, .54 .58 .60 and .72. In your opinion which would be the...

    .54 to .58

Thinking about turning a TC New Englander .54 into a .58. Is it do able? It is a 15/16 barrel, any idea of cost, who does it etc. Give me your input, also you may ask why? Just because, also been looking at a Navy Arms Buffalo Hunter, and the Tc looks good and fits well.

    TC Rear Sights

I have a New Englander that the rear adjustable sights are loose. Do I have to remove the roll pin at the front of the sight and slide the upper portion to the rear? I removed the adjustment screw for elevation but does not free up the top portion :cursing: . Bernie

    Navy Arms- Buffalo Hunter

I got a good deal on a Buffalo Hunter, by Zoli. Even though it is missing both the front and rear sights, in my ignorance I thought I could call Navy Arms and orders a set. Not so, I am now on a wild goose chase. Can someone tell me who can set me up, Navy Arms sent me to VTI, who sent me to...

    58. cal Navy Arms

I just acquired this firearm, it is stamped 58. cal Zoli and has the Navy Arms stamp. As far as looks like a Zouave, except that the barrel is keyed to the stock not held by bands From what I have read is the past this would make it a Buffalo Hunter. What I need help with is front and rear...

Morning at the range with .54 GPR

I've had this rifle for 4-5 yrs now, hunted with it sparingly the first couple, always going back to my .54 Renegade to kill deer with. The Lyman has fixed primitive sights, silver blade and buckhorn, I did alright up 50 yards with a 80 gr. load but after that I really didn't know where the...

Will the double set triggers from a Seneca fit a Hawken?

    36 cal. rifles

TC used to make them, GM doesn't make IBS in them, just .32 and .40 for smaller cals. So what happened that the .36 fell from grace? How is it inferior to others? The .32 seems small and looks hard to clean and the .40 seems to large for small game and to small for large game. Am I the only one...

    Cabela's Hawken

Does anyone know if this Hawken repro ever at any time came in a 58 cal. I talked with a fellow who is an 1 1/2 hr. drive away who claims he has one for sale. Before I $30.00 in gas money to go look at it I thought I would ask.

    Lockplate on TC Hawken

Just acquired this rifle, was built as a kit. The problem is that the lock is recessed to far in the stock between 1/32 to a 1/16. Doesn't seem to affect the hammer to nipple much. What would be the best workable mat. to use to build this out, I could remove wood from the outside of the stock...

    FIE Italian Kentucky Rifle

That is what it is 45 cal, slow twist. I acquired it a few years ago, never could get it to group, fouled bad and quickly. Got that fiquired out .435 rb with felt wad, rifling still sharp, .440 and patch gets cut and blows out. Had problems with the lock, would not stay at full cock, the...
