    3F in Pedersoli .54 Frontier

I use 90gr of 3F in my blue ridge, with a .530 ball and ticking patch it will do a touching group at 50yds if I do my part.

    Flint dressing tool?

You can get brass rods on eBay cheap, any diameter you want. That's what I did after trying with a plain old nail, works really well and quick.

    Pedersoli lock problem

Crew, did that lock drop right in, or were modifications needed?

    Pedersoli lock problem

Yes, going to do that. Can't fiend that part anywhere, the small screw and fender washer will get me through hunting season and save for the lock.

    Pedersoli lock problem

I tried that sight, no dice. It's not the metric size that's a problem, it's the diameter of the head. Maybe a pan head with a small fender washer might work. Just sucks, because I love this rifle, couldn't believe how accurate it was and ignition was flawless. Early doe seasons stars next...

    Pedersoli lock problem

So this is my first flintlock, the cabelas blue ridge. I have quite a few cap locks and I must say I'm hooked, love this rifle. Shot it for the first time last week and loved everything about it. So I'm packing everything up to hit the range in the morning and I notice the tumbler screw that...

    new lyman gph stock ?

Make sure you clean the barrel really well before you do, Lyman puts some thick, nasty grease in there. Brake cleaner works very well for that initial cleaning. I would run a piece of scotch brite pad on your jag as well to ease the sharpness of the rifiling.

    Mine is the same way.

    GPR set trigger

I believe it's 5.5x8mm, but the best thing I did to mine was drop in a set of Davis triggers.

Same as Ron after seeing his posts and how he slightly modified the site body, works perfect.

    stuck jag??

Had this happen a couple weeks ago and did something similar after pulling the wire off of two worms. Took a .22 brass slotted tip and dremeled off on side leaving a J shape, sharpened the end of the J and cut a couple barbs in it, looked liked a fish hook. Worked great, as long as you have...

    A Message from Bob Hoyt

I just sent him 2 renegade barrels to be bored .54 and .58 and just told him to give me what he though was best for round ball only.

    A Message from Bob Hoyt

Spoke with Mr Hoyt this morning and told him I got his contact info and great recommendations from this forum. He asked if I could pass along some info for him as he doesn't really do the computer thing. He has relocated and his new address is 2379 Mt Hope Rd, Farfield PA. Also he is quite slow...

Lyman great plains rifles quality question..

I bought one last year from mid south, cheapest price on the net. While it's not perfect astethicaly, wood to metal fit and stock finish, it functions perfectly and is a very accurate weapon in both fast and slow twist, I have both barrels. I have no complaints for what it cost me. I stripped...
