    Enlarging predrilled ram rod hole

    Can anyone tell me if there are any problems/dangers of splits etc. involved with enlarging a predrilled ram rod hole. If I try this I plan on using a TOTW drill bit to go from 5/16s to 3/8s.

    vent liner

    after you haved appled the finish,can any of you fruitcakes tell me if it is safe to change a 1/4x28 vent liner by drilling with the 1 number larger drill and using a 1/4x32 vent liner? In other words a #3 drill to a 7/32 drill.a difference of .0057 inch. Thanks Sign Cutter
