Did the unthinkable to my GPR but I love it!

Looks sharp. I love the faux tiger stripe. Once you put your own blood, sweat, and tears into it , it becomes a part of you.

    Peep sites for TC rifles

I have a TC Hawken, a Renegade, and a Cherokee. I would like to find peep sites to put on all three. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Also would like to know if front sight needs changed to accommodate. Thanks, Duke21

    Going price CVA Varmint?

I have a very clean one in 32 cal. I used to have a squirrel also. The varmit has a heavier stock. Larger barrel across the flats and cap on the forearm. I loved my squirrel rifle until i picked up the varmit. The varmit fit me much better and the extra heft made it easier to shoot...

I got my deer tag and I am ready to go!

Reminds me of years ago a trip into Cades Cove in the great smokey mountain national park. We were hunting black bear with our 35 mm cameras( low power lenses). And i swore i saw a beautiful one climbing a fencepost in middle of an opening. We hauled butt as fast as we could to get around...

I got my deer tag and I am ready to go!

Wow, this sounds like a real hunt to remember. You are certainly earning your stripes on this first hunt. Please dont get down on yourself if u do not score this first time. There is no shame in failure to score. Embrass the time you have had as one with nature and learn your lessons...

A fowler by any other name....

Wow am i glad i read this posting. Anytime i see something posted by spence i jump at the chance to read as i know i am going to learn something. My interest leans more toward the rifles, but i think that is because that is predominately what i have( love the small game calibers), but...

    Got my new gun!

Not fair! Not fair! Not fair! First you brag about this beautiful smoothbore, then you have to rub it in by showing the squirrels you harvested. Us hoosiers have to wait 2 more months and your pic has me envious of your gun and your game. Good shooting and awesome gun. God bless!

    cemetary gun

That is so cool!!! Historical pieces like this are going to the scrapyard faster than we can count. Sure its dangerous but at the time of invention it was a neat contraption that was an inexpensive security guard. These picker and pawn and auction tv shows are very interesting for us...

    Off the range shooting

 Gee Guys, i am not worthy of all the great information. The pics from Stumpkiller are great, and i was considering multiple loading blocks, but it seemed like cheatin to me. I think Rambo would shoot a muzzleloader if he had all of those blocks ready to go I keep my cleaning jag on...

    Tingle gun

when you look closely at the area in which it is stamped 36 cal you can faintly see where it appears to have been marked 45. the 45 doesnt look like it took a deep stamp. but you can see it. i tend to think it was stamped 45 possibly before it was bored. it doesnt appear to have been...
