No idea. Looking at the IMA ones, it looks just like theirs, so it could be one that was from Nepal. From what I read they were made from British parts and some locally sourced materials - utilized by the "old home guard". IMA wants $1300 for a complete example without the sword bayonet...

I bought it about 10 years ago on CMP forum as a "British Brunswick" - but who knows?
I have one from Nepal with a bayonet nipples were hand made and threaded in some more of a cast iron example some had carving in the stock many had no patch box one can find examples and information on the British military forums a couple of members there are a wealth of information
