My friend was a long time guide in Idaho, known for finding trophy elk. A medical doctor from California booked a hunt. My friend put him on a trophy elk both days. He aimed his rifle but did not shoot. The guide was truly astounded that the Dr. booked again the next year. Same scenario. Careful aim, trophy elk but no shot. It was repeated every day of the hunt. As they left the mountains the doctor booked for the next year; my friend asked him "what is going on?" The hunter simply replied, "I love the hunt but my thrill is the knowledge that I could have shot a magnificent animal. But I chose not to do so." To each his own. Polecat
