Ye fergot that seven blackfeet, passed just behind you and to the right, just 1/2 hr ago with one limping pony, and four ponys loaded with loot!!

Man, I love pics - the more the better. Sometimes I forget how green it is in that part of the country.

Hey Skagan, I find myself in need of a game bag and like the looks of that haversack you have slung on your left hip... did you make that yourself or is there someplace I might acquire one just like it?

Oh yeah, piece o' (very cheap) cake!
Believe it or not, I made that back in 1978 when I was in high school. it's a simple canvas haversack from the pattern in sketchbook '76.
As a matter of fact, I was just looking at wilde weavery's large haversack as a replacement so I can retire my present bag.

I think I would have gone that way also... Looks like a well planned route, a trade route, a...
Great pics... Loyalist Dawg :hatsoff:

Don't forget Yogi Berra's all time best quote " If you come
to a fork in the road, take it". The man was a genious in
his time....

Wow Skagun that second pic looks like the door too heaven , I don't there are any places like that out here in the desert . I don't think the top of Palomar has any green on it much anymore.

Did you face the direction of the sun rising and turn left or right cause you couldn't read? :rotf: Nice Pics!
