Just finished putting on some brass strips on the tomahawk, the next step will be to pour a pewter top.
At what point do you stop customizing pieces and leave it be to be used as an actual tool?
During the fall(turkey and small game season) I carry it with me.

When it gets to the point that you don't want to use it as a tool anymore you've gone too far. If I had one that looked that nice, I wouldn't want to use it.
That was my thoughts, I need something that can take a little abuse to do a job.
