Now there is a picture that will make ya pucker up!

hope to heck you are all right and no major damage was done to the ol' gripper!

That looks like it hurts.

I have heard that if you put some 4f on your wound and light it on fire it aids the healing process.

Yeeeeeeeeooooooooow, thats gonna leave a mark !!!!!! Somebody get the alcohol. Uncrichie.

Now that had too have smarted!! I broke one once but it was inside the barrel. Check your rods and make sure there isn't any run-out of the grain. Emery

Owww... Man, that hurts. Look up this web page and order some hickory RR blanks from Dennis:

Hickory or nothing for me, and Dennis has always done me right on them. If you really want to make sure they never break in dry climates, take a pipe and cap it. Stick in several RR blanks and fill with linseed. Let it soak for a couple of months. The sucker will bend, but you'll have a hard time breaking it.

Hey, I hope that doesn't affect your buffalo hunt.

I was pushing the swamp for my dad one year. Heard a shot from his way, so made my way over there. Asked, "did you get 'em?". "Nope" came the reply. "Then what's this blood trail?" He then held up his hand.......

Looks like that smarted some! Take care.

The important thing is, you didn't ruin the finish on the rifle did you? Flesh wounds heal, but wood and metal don't. :nono:
