Anyone have any experience putting together one of the TVM Tennessee pistol kits?

I've never put a gun kit together, so am looking for something without major work to do on it.

Any tips particular to the TVM?

If it is anything like my TVM kit there is a lot of inletting to do. Fine woodworking to be done. Just don't get in a hurry.

Which TVM? We inlet the barrel and ramrod channels 100%, the breechplug is installed, tang inlet, dovetails cut for the sights, lock and triggers 90%, cut for the shape of the buttplate,
butt completely shaped and the forend is left a little heavy for working the wood to the barrel.
