I took several wads and used a nail to poke a hole thru, then got a screw that matched the thread on my rod and a washer and ran it thru the felts and screwed into my rod where the jag fits, and tighten it up firmly. I load it with Go-Jo white to wipe/scrub the barrel with after flushing with scalding hot water. A replacement for tow material. Seems to scrub better than a bore mop and won't get stuck like a jag can. Washable too.
