Thompson Center 50 cal flintlock for sale. 29" Barrel. It's an old kit build as you can tell from the serial number. The original T/C lock geometry wasn't great and didn't spark reliably so the hammer, frizzen, and touch hole liner were all replaced with RMC Ox-Yoke parts. Now it works very well. The original components will be included. The rifle will come as a package with, a dozen or so flints, and some cleaning tools/jags, etc. I’m unable to take a decent picture of the bore. The rifling is fine and there’s only minor surface rust that cleaned up pretty quickly.

Rub a little dirt on it, go hunting

Yet where are the Bore photos-?

would probably sell with the images of a good bore

Ok… Drop a AAA battery down bore, shine a flashlight- take a photo. ☝ Not asking for bore scope metallurgy digital imaging

And How about take the lock out, show the back side of the lock? Those two things are easy to do…. Rite?

I didn't know about the AAA battery trick. I attempted to take photos with a flashlight and my phone but it didn't show much of anything. I've seen those little bore lights that you can drop down the barrel but I don't own one. I'll give it a shot with a AAA battery tonight and take some pictures of the in-letting and back side of the lock.

Best to get Bore photos- or No One will want to purchase…. That makes sense of any MZ for sale, Now Dosnt it ?

I agree…seeing the bore is a must before buying a muzzleloader
I’m sure 99% of people on this Forum would agree- even if… it’s a “brand new” muzzleloader. I trust yet I want to see for myself. Money dose not grow on trees.

Agree 100%on used.Pics I don,t believe show a bore accurately. You need to get your noggin down on the bore and eye it out w/a bore lite.
