The gun I posted I messed up, here it is. It turned out ok no doubt could be alot better but like I said before I. Not what I would call a builder.lost more wood due to alot of sanding and the only thing it caused a issue with was butt plate but I worked it out. In the pics it's the second one up from bottom.

Losing wood will made it MORE authentic. Most builds I see are way too chunky. A long rifle should be slim. Or have the appearance of slimness. Chunky is for muskets and punt guns….
