TC patriot 45 Good/Bad?

Well, I guess someone has to have an opposing opinion......

I bought a .45 Patriot not long after they came out. I found it extremely ungainly, even though I have large hands. BTW, it wasn't a matter of the weight of the pistol, either, because I shot all kinds of modern single and double actions that weighed more to a lot more than the Patriot.

I was very happy when I traded my Patriot away many years ago and have never regretted it a bit.

I would speculate that the total production wasn't huge. They were an expensive pistol compared to many contemporary pistols. Also, they didn't really have the "mountain man" look that was so popular at the early part of their production.
