Selling a very nice Springfield M1795 .69caliber, smoothbore, percussion conversion. This piece began life sometime in 1812 or 1813 (John Adams was still alive!) at Springfield and underwent an armory conversion with the Belgian/cone style nipple being added sometime most likely in the 1850s. This piece has many cartouche still visible on the wood and the "SNY" stamping for use by the New York State militia. Bore is darkened but smooth, metal is overall still very bright with some scratches and dings and likewise the wood is in very good condition for its age, displays really nicely, mechanically perfect as well. Great piece.

Asking $1700 shipped to the lower 48, will accept personal, banker, certified checks, money orders as well as PP friends and family.

Still available for sale. Would consider for or towards trade for flintlock fowlers, brown bess variations, or other similar Revolutionary War era pieces.
