All I did was to widen the notch in the rear sight and file it down a bit to sight in. Couldn't hardly see thru the notch before. Now the sights work great.
Track of the Wolf sells many assorted sights. Maybe they would have some you like better. :idunno:
 
I replaced the front sight on my Lyman pistol with a narrow brass sight purchased from Track of the Wolf. I had the same problem as Jethro, couldn't see enough daylight on the either side of the rear sight.
 
I tried the replacement sights for lyman rifles that are somewhat adjustable for elevation and you drift them to adjust windage. This did not work for me. I did like the sight picture. I use the standard sights the one that came with my pistol I did not need to widen.
