Is there a difference between Schuetzen and Grafs? What would you shoot if you were going to shoot one of those? For now i will stick with Goex but I was curious.

From what I understood, Graf's IS Schutzen, just rebranded.

Like my Mercury Tracer is a Ford Escort.

However, Grafs is supposed to be made with alder char. I don't know what Schutzen is supposedly using.

At any rate they seem to be identical in granulation, cleanliness, and velocity. They also come in the same type of plastic bottle. (then again, so does Swiss)

I'd say buy the Graf. Same same for less $$$.

One & the same, choice would be price and availability, and for me, Graf's wins on both accounts.

Sharp Shooter,
I'm with the others, they are the
same in a different package. I have used the
Graf powder and although I returned to Goex, I
found
the Graf powder to be very acceptable and they are good folks to do bussiness with.IMO

So basically the same thing so just get whatever is cheaper and easier to buy. I might have to start ordering powder. The drive I take to get Goex is 35min each way (think about gas) and I pay $15 per pound. It would be just as cheap to order. Grafs and Schuetzen are exactly the same correct? And they are made in Germany correct?

Sharp Shooter,
Graf also handles Goex at around
$11.00 per pound + haz-mat. More you order the
cheaper it is.

last few times I looked, they had supply issues. I ended up getting the Grafs.... Being here in western NY, it is hopeless to do anything but mail order.
