I did get my hands of an monkey tail in decent shape but was somewhat furbish- hard on the barrel and the wood was dry and light , so i dissembled it an found the underside of the barrel was in perfect untouched condition, the original blue was beautiful an no rust . So i decided to restore the upper part of the barrel so reblued the upper part of the barrel after a light buffing and degreasing. And also cleaned the inside of the barrel with oil and bronze brush and patches, the barrel was smooth and shiny after cleaning- the best one a have seen on a 25 inch carbine so far. and make an own stock oil and oiled it, also made some new parts and a modified bullet mold.
