I got a good deal on a pair of Jukar Kentucky Pistols in
.45 caliber. The one needs a new drum/nipple combination as well as a new nosecap (there's a hairline crack in the nosecap.)

The nosecap looks very similar to the one in the Traditions Kentucky pistol kit manual. Anyway...

My questions are:

1. Anyone pretty familiar with the Jukar Kentucky pistols? I saw a replacement drum available for cva percussion pistols, and I'm pretty sure the Jukar is a very old cva.. but I don't know if there has been changes? Will that drum fit the Jukar?

2. Can anyone tell me (by examining their own Jukar) the correct thread and measurements for the drum I need?

3. Could I use a nosecap from another source? (IE: replace the nosecap). The nosecap is approximately 1 inch long and 14/16" across the flats (or Inner diameter at the top).

please carbon copy responses to [email protected] so I dont miss any :)
