For sale a pristine and unfired set of the U.S. Historical Society Deringers. These are quite scarce, and in my lifetime, I've only ever seen this one set in person.
The deringers are stocked in walnut with engraved sterling silver inlays. The lockplate and butt trap, which houses a spare nipple, are color case hardened steel. Both pistols have the spare nipple included. Caliber for both is .41 with nicely browned barrels. Quality of fit and finish is impeccable.
The deringers are housed in a book-style case with accessories that include a scissor-type bullet mold, ebony-handled nipple wrench and screwdriver, a bullet starter/ramrod, and a sterling silver powder flask, no scratches on any of the accessories. The serial numbers of the pistols are 356A and 356B.
The price is$1300 $1100 which includes priority shipping and insurance to legal CONUS locations. Payment by Paypal F&F, Cashiers Check or USPS Money Order. No personal checks, no trades. Any correspondence via PM please.
For comparison purposes, a pair of the lesser quality Pedersoli deringers without accessories or case would run you about $1500 from current retailers.
