Gentlemen,
I was wondering about pillow ticking. My era has been 1840-65 with a focus on the War of Northern Aggression. We know (as there are a few surviving artifacts) that pillow ticking pants and frock coats were used in the 1860's. My son has gotten into the first War for Independence, so I am enlarging my historical clothes. Was pillow ticking correct for anything in the 1760-90 period besides mattresses?
Thank you for your help,
David
