Hi,
I saw your ad surfing the web this evening and just joined this forum. Recently shot a "Jose Wales" match using 4 full size cap and ball and one pocket revolver at NCOWS club I just joined. I would give you the $575 you want (shipped as you say). Assuming you did not already sell it. Did you try pulling the rear trigger after the front trigger is used to cock it with the slide in the SA position? (that is how the single action works). I really like the looks of the 1863 SA only version...

Dave (go by Dingo at the matches...)

I’d like to buy this if you could take 550.00 shipped.

I’m thinking that the reason it is not functioning in single action is because the “Trigger” is only a “decocker” on the Starr Revolver. The sear mechanism in the back is actually what functions as the trigger. In double action the little slide mechanism depresses that sear to make it fire.

I am not sure how to pm someone on here. Can you send me a pm or email me at [email protected] to exchange information? I’d like to talk on the phone to ensure we are both real people before I send the payment for the Starr. Thanks. I’m Mark by the way.
