I have 3 Pietta 60 Armies and the grips are much larger than my Pietta Navys. Is it possible you have a copy of the very early Army that used the Navy grips (rare)?

I dont have any pietta colt repro’s at the time to check fits. But have had several through the years. This was on a 51 navy (36) model, around a 2020 yr. and at that time I had bought a couple other grips at a show and switched it out. Those grips packaging were marked for the pietta 1851-1860-1861-1862. I am only assuming, but I beleived pietta may have had 60’s and 61’s in the 36 also. I dont think they care as much about historical accuracy as to what sells.
