I have a caplock investarms made, Lyman GREAT PLAINS RIFLE. .54cal. Unfired by me. Bought from a friend who never got into front stuffers, and I can’t swear to it, but he may have never shot it either. The bore is great. Light surface rust (no pitting) on top exterior of barrel. Most of it came off with oiling and some bronze wool would probably take it all off, but I don’t want to conceal the fact it had it so I’m not taking it any further.
