I have an old Connecticut Valley Arms pistol. 50cal. I shoot 490 ball. I haven't shot it in over 5 years and I forgot what size patch to use!!

If you want to use pre-cut patches, try starting with .015 thick pillow ticking material cut in 1-1/4" squares or rounds. My fingers are a bit numb, so I cut mine a little oversize at 1-3/8" x 1-3/8".

Your situation is obviously different than mine, but the above info should be sufficient to get you started. Adjust patch thickness and size as needed and have fun.

Which end of the state (or maybe the middle) do you call home?
