BTW, there is a mass, mixed grave at a Meeting House near the Brandywine Battlefield; both Americans & British were buried there. (Not the small State 'battlefield' on Rt. 1, but the more centrally located battle site near Birmingham. Small British & American flags mark it and there's a simple monument as well. The exigencies of war didn't allow formal separation and "graves registration" as we might today. It's a solemn spot.
